The owners of Some Kinda Shine are set out to prove that this is truly a remarkable individual both as a show horse and as a sire. We believe that we have an ethical responsibility to this great horse as well as the Appaloosa breed to strive for the best possible performance stock. Our mare selection criteria is rigorous and seeks to insure, as best is possible, proven bloodlines in the reining, working cow horse, and cutting industries for crosses. For 2010, Some Kinda Shine will stand at Echeto Ranch (www.echetoranch.com), a first class facility for this rising star of reining.
As business people, we also realize the current economic realities, and are committed and confident in the product that we endorse. As such, a selective breeding strategy has been initiated for "Frankie's" initial breeding season as sire. In 2010, Some Kinda Shine will stand to a limited number of approved ApHC and AQHA mares, with special consideration given to performance record and producers. The following are enrolled Incentive Programs for 2010:
- NRHA Sire & Dam Program and Auction*.
- NRBC (National Reining Breeder's Classic)
- Gordyville Breeder's Cup
